How do we gift funds?
You can visit a CVS in person to send the funds via MoneyGram or sign up online with the following.

Can we gift goods (ex: clothes, toys, etc)?
Yes, of course! The gifting of at least $100 or $150, depending on the sponsorship selected is mandatory. However, the gifting of goods is at the sponsor’s discretion.

Once received by the sponsee, how will the funds be allocated?
All expenditures of the gifted funds are at the sole discretion of the sponsee. Their monthly essentials can vary from utilities to groceries; therefore, we have decided that it is best for the sponsee to decide where and how to spend.
Can we communicate with the families?
Communication with the family is absolutely encouraged! All necessary contact information of the family you will be sponsoring will be sent within your Sponsorship Confirmation.
The families in Artsakh and Armenia are ecstatic when they receive phone calls and/or text messages. We have experienced and felt the joy exuded once a connection has been made.
As mentioned in “Our Mission,” this program is far more than a sponsorship. It is meant to connect families, while establishing a form of mentorship and kinship. A simple half-hour to hour conversation about their necessities, the children’s accomplishments in school, and even their day-to-day life is greatly appreciated. We recommend that you take the time and get to know them— you’ll be amazed at how quickly you’ll feel like family.
How do we contact our family?
Depending on the location of the sponsee, there are two apps preferred for communicating with your family. Please be sure to add a “+” in front of the phone number when adding the family as a contact.

How long does the sponsorship last?
We ask that you please commit to at least one full year of sponsorship. Following the completion of the first year, it is the decision of the sponsor as to whether or not they would like to continue with the program.

Can we sponsor more than one family?
Yes, you may sponsor up to 2 families. Please specify if you would like to do so within the message field of the Sponsorship Form.
